- patch the parity issues between Java and Bedrock, prioritizing Java mechanics first and leaving Bedrock mechanics untouched if there's no Java equivalent
- give Java edition the same kind of optimization that Bedrock has (like literally the Adrenaline modpack is so fucking good)
- remove Minecraft Java from the Xbox Game Pass so we can talk about girldick and hack on 2b2t without big daddy Microsoft getting mad
- work on updates please
- remove the "nothing that comes from mods" rule from additions. aether would be so cool and biomes o' plenty is so nice
- let people choose between Classic -1.8 combat and Modern 1.9- combat (making it a gamerule would solve all the problems in the PvP community right now holy shit)
- don't fuck up anything in the 1.8 combat transition to modern versions or Minemen will become a terrorist organization within a business week
- give people more skin customization on Java. i want to be a furry but minecraft says "NO YOU'RE BEING A BLOCK PERSON"
- also throw Notch in a dungeon and make sure he only ever comes out to work on the game and NOTHING else (this is a joke, kinda)
mojang's refusal to update the game and add anything interesting is what's making the game stale. i know it's not directly killing it, but i think it'd be cool to see more experimental stuff, more stuff that people can use for a bit and talk to the devs about
there was this one time where the real jeb (yes the real jeb (yes the real jeb (yes the real jeb))) joined the minecraft competitive reddit discord server and talked about what made minecraft 1.8 really fun and i still hold that to be a super nice interaction between the devs and one part of a passionate community
