So, back in 2021, I participated in my very first Blacktober with a melanin-blasted Death the Kid from Soul Eater and while the original was cute and all for someone who just started drawing, I wanted to see if I could give it another go. Needless to say, I definitely have a tighter understanding of what the hell I'm doing as an illustrator and it genuinely looks like this sketch and that final piece were done by two wholly different people...!
