You are a Royal chaperone on your way to a diplomatic function with a Princess, a Dragon, and a Knight, when you come to a river. Your only way to cross is via a rowboat that smells faintly of cabbages, but in addition to yourself, it will only hold two others at any time, none of whom will condescend to help row.
