Miserable Pile Of Words

It is, yet again, an unholy mess, with two possible story states existing at the same time that won't collapse into one until I actually get to that point.
So that's something to look forward to.

Why am I waffling over which way to go in the hopes of avoiding having to CW the story (which always seems to repel people, or maybe they're just not good? idk), when both quantum story states need one?

oh god, yeah lol. for me i feel like i have to or it'll suck. and it nearly always takes about as much time as the writing did.

I usually run like, 5-10 editing passes
which is why everything takes forever

oh wow, lol, my passes basically are:

transfer from discord (yes i know) notes/scratch dialogue to google doc prose
little re-edits as i go/get stuck
full editing pass
pass as i transfer it into cohost with markdown
reading the draft on mobile to check for any final errors
me continuing to spot errors and fiddling with it for days after

but like, if things are going well, noting the small sample size as i've not been at this long, i seem to be able to write maybe 3 days a week. just that writing is all i'll do that day.

i take like a 2 hour break before the full pass. i really should like give it a day, maybe do more than one full pass for that. but i am still very impatient and wanna get more out there. still feels like a miracle when i have written something.
