A swooping arch, taller than trees or buildings, densely inscribed on every inch with curses directed from the builders to parties unknown.
We know nothing about the precursor civilization that built The Arch.
It's as if every trace, every mention of them has been wiped from the annals of history.
From the face of the planet.
All that remains of them is The Arch.
A beacon rising proudly from the Desert Without End.
Golden.
Shining.
Obviously meant to be part of a greater whole...
On it, the strange, foreign curses we are in the process of laboriously translating.
Hoping to discover more about who they were.
What their deal was.
And we know they're curses, or at least some of them, because the first complete inscription we managed to decipher, after many years of hard work, reads "I'm NOT loving it"
