First of all, that wasn't a fic, that was a two sentence shitchost. Doesn't count.
Secondly: puns are piss easy. Broken Brain just does its linky jumpy thing, plays Six Degrees of Neuron Beacon, and boom, there's a pun that makes people chuckle. It'd be easier for me to stop breathing than to stop punning.
Before you start congratulating me...
The Demon thing I just did doesn't count, because it's a joke I banged it out in like 20 minutes flat. Yes, it's a thing I wrote, but it's not the things I've been wanting to write, needing to write, trying to finish for... quite a long time now.
I can trick the brain into writing and finishing a short vignette in let's say half an hour, before it catches up to what I'm doing and puts its foot down. It's the staying with it, the finishing something longer than 500 words that's always the problem.
