"This makes no sense." Jayna Bluestar grumbled from the wall of bounties.

"What doesn't?" Daniela sighed, already knowing the answer.

She was only doing this guild receptionist job to help pay for her little sister's medicine. She didn't need the hassle of dealing with all this bitching and moaning all day every day, but here she was anyway. Because unfortunately, Gabriella had an incurable curse, so... Daniela was stuck. Probably for the rest of her miserable life.

Her sister was damn lucky she was such a cute little monkey.

"This says dead or alive." the famous bounty hunter commented, brandishing the offending poster.

"Yes, and?" Daniela cued wearily.

"It's a lich." Jayne growled. "It's dead already."

Daniela closed her eyes. She could read the fucking script off the inside of her eyelids by now. "It is."

Fluttering paper. Ah, the bounty hunter was flailing the poster around. Make that 7 times today. "So we can't bring it in alive."

Slow counts to ten, Daniela. Slow counts to ten. Keep your cool. You need this job.

"Does it really... matter? For you to do your job? Like... really?" she finally asked, unable to keep up the pleasantries. She could feel her headache returning. "Look, these are pre-printed by the hundreds. They have a template. They don't have one that says 'undead'. I'm just here to hang them up. Answer questions. That's my job. You're the big bad butch. Just fucking deal with it."

Dead silence.

Oh shit. You're not supposed to snap at the members.

Daniela cracked open an eye. Noticed the stunned, kinda sheepish look on the rugged bounty hunter's face.

"Sorry, miss." Jayna muttered, sounding for all the world like a 6 year old that got caught doing something bad by mommy.

Daniela couldn't help herself. "... And?" she prompted.

Jayna straightened her back. Looked anywhere but at Daniela. "... and I'll stop bothering you and go do my job now, miss."

"Good girl."
