Oh, wow, this is great! I love the handmaids as "Oak" and "Leaf" before we know their names, it's evocative and gives us good insight into how Raoghnailt is feeling about them. And the whole conversation between Esme and the Princess is very interesting. I kind of like having to decode the words - I find myself getting stuck occasionally, and it really makes me feel for poor Raogh who doesn't have the luxury of pausing to try and figure it out. Good stuff!!

about the decoding, good to hear it's like working as intended hehe. like, i wanna make sure you don't have to highlight text or open a decoder to understand.
It's interesting to see what Rao interprets easily! Or maybe she highlights on those words? Much to interpret!
interprets for sure, what manages to come through the obfuscation. it's not something she has any agency over, for now 
oh this is good, so many layers of interesting dynamics developing here, also the formatting continues to be awesome 
thank yoouuu esp that the formatting is working well hehe. and yee, lots between esme and florrie, nice to kind of position rí in a triangle with them and see how it plays out
