Not that the AI companies give a shit about licenses, given that the vast public-internet-scraped datasets used for training were gathered under legal exemptions to normal copyright rules specific to academic research, and then the entire enterprise flipped to commercial use because they correctly figured it was as easy to get away with that as Just Fucking Doing It.
Witness the success in every dork bleating "Ackshually copyright bad, and generated works are not individually copyright infringing, ergo copyright arguments are Wrong for tackling AI!!!!" — yeah, no, the thing doesn't work without the training data, that's where the fucking theft comes in. If you can't see the relevance of "rules saying corporations can't simply ingest everything you ever made" to the situation, I dunno what to tell you; you're saying you actively prefer no rules saying they can't do it?
