The fun part about placing your story's action in places you've never been, and having your characters do things you've never done, is that you get to do so much research to make sure it's 100% correct or as-correct-as-you-can-make-it-given-resources, because otherwise your stupid broken brain keeps yelling at you that you just need to do more research.
