I'm just saying that near the end of the 18th century, Dracula could have had access to a lot of vulgate bible translations, and that's presuming that the game's textual English is actually what is being spoken by all the characters, but even if that's textual, Dracula could be translating the Latin as he understood it from prior to protestant reformative needs for vulgate biblical translations. And why Dracula would be so keen on the English language at that time carries it's own questions.
But also textually in-game the Bible is a weapon that damages him when it touches him, same with all his minions, so how did he even read it? Was it just painful the entire time, like, physically? Did he capture and coerce some priest into reading it to him? And if he was getting it secondhand, surely that introduces a range for error. Suppose it was a Catholic priest who would have had a Bible in Latin before the 1960s, and this speculative priest who could turn the pages without physical harm was doing the translation for Dracula?
