"Square cubes? Psh. Call me when they weaponize round cubes." — Lionheart "Euclid" Tannen
Headhunter, hero assassin for hire, had been tracking The Panda for ages, but he'd finally found his prey's home base. His stronghold. His sanctum sanctorum. It had been staring him in the face for so long, he was frankly quite embarrassed it took him until today to just follow the trail of discarded, half-eaten bamboo leaves... to a bamboo grove.
The bastard hero was eating again. Didn't he ever have enough? And what kind of powers did a panda have anyway? Still, this would make it easier to kill him. Just a few more seconds...
Headhunter never saw the shot that killed him, or his target getting up and exiting the grove without a single backward glance. He really should have heeded the old saying, a warning left by previous villains.
"The Panda eats, shoots and leaves."
