I think1 I've managed to break the block on the story I've been trying to finish writing for 6 whole damn months now by realising that I could just... not.
If I don't show but tell, I can make it work.
Yes, it'll be shorter, yes, I'll lose some choice snippets that might appear on here somewhere down the line2, but it will be done.
