I don't have a grand, eloquent thousands-of-words-long final post for you.
Remember, I haven't been able to string together a lot of words for a while now.
And let's be honest, I'm not that eloquent to start with anyway.

I should write something, for a place that has come to mean...
more than I thought it would, to me.
Maybe more than it should.
So.
Was Cohost perfect?
No. But we're not here to re-litigate its failures. What would be the point, at this late stage? You can't change the past, so let us leave them in the past... but not forget they happened, and what we hopefully learned from them.
Was Cohost a good place to be?
For me? Yes. No numbers. No explicit clout-chasing, that I saw.
A place to put down my thoughts and scribbles.
(again: really, really sorry about that)
A place to breathe.
Most importantly:
It was the place where I met so many of you.
Longformchosters.
Shitchosters.
Creatures.
Writers.
Readers.
Prompters.
Community.
Friends.
I love you all, and while we might not all end up in the same spaces, I won't forget you.
Be excellent to each other, and take the spirit of this place with you wherever you end up.
