is either a fed or an idiot. Use a password manager that stores stuff locally like Keepass. Don't keep your passwords in The Cloud obviously, since

I have been saying this for years and the LastPass debacle has vindicated my paranoia.
Why should I trust LastPass, 1Password, BitWarden, Mozilla, Google, etc with my passwords? By being known they are a target for malicious actors trying to get at my shit.
We have looped back around to "the most secure way to store passwords is on a little notebook you keep next to your computer"
I personally use iCloud Keychain, but it's a calculated risk — My understanding of how Keychain is encrypted is that it cannot be unlocked except by an authorized device and with 2FA. Even the plugin for Windows requires me to punch in a code every time I launch the browser.
But it's still a risk. Generally, storing passwords somewhere offline and safe is the best, preferably physical.
