I feel sorta validated now for bailing out of Endymion halfway through. Keats was a great poet, but....well he was a great poet eventually, and also really long works were never his strength. Don't be like me, don't try to read his entire complete works unless you're like a Keats scholar or something

Endymion specifically, but I like to read poetry when I'm kind of sleepy and dreamy, loosey goosey associationally, and it didn't feel conducive to that :P
Ooof yeah it really isnāt. Tbh while parts of it were nice my overall feeling about it was that it was felt turgid and indulgent and that Keats really struggled with the length and structure and all of that combined means itās not easy to justā¦read. So I can totally see why itās a bad fit for sleepy reading
