Oh man I really need to watch this. Many years ago in JP my band was invited to participate in an “anisong” concert: play what you want, but the first song has to be an anime theme song. We did the opening theme from this anime, Bara wa Utsukushiku Chiru (The rose petals scatter in a lovely way), it was good fun.
That sounds like a lot of fun and also that song is a total banger! I’ve always been really fond of it
