Yeah it’s so funny to me that THAT is what got cut. Both because of the irony (cutting that particular line from the song skewering masculinity just, um, doesn’t that prove the point of the song tho) and also because they clearly were not prepared for the whole set. I remember reading a while ago that the puppet’s penis was just fully visible during the broadcast bc they just had no idea it was gonna happen. Like they were not ready for late 70s David Bowie
