A little over 2 years ago I bought myself a keyboard and started playing piano again. I took lessons when I was younger but dropped off hard as a teenager and so when I started again I hadn’t played for at least 12 years.
Anyways soon after I started practicing the FFVII Piano Collections arrangement of Aerith’s theme. It was absolutely too hard for where I was at, largely due to the use of polyrhythms throughout the entire second half of the arrangement. Now after 2 years I’ve gotten noticeably a lot better at playing and today I managed to play the whole song perfectly 🎉
