Pale Saints' first album, The Comforts of Madness, has long been a favorite but I also think it's a little underappreciated in the shoegaze canon. It's a great time and very much worth a listen, and it also has a cute cat on the cover so
Lush was so good, one of the dreamiest of the first wave shoegaze bands, and this song is an all-timer. I got to see Lush's final concert at Manchester Academy in 2016, and hearing this song played live, with the dense wall of sound turned up so loud I could physically feel it all around me, is the best concert experience I've ever had
