There's a new episode of Coffee & Comic Books up for our $5 patrons! In which we are joined again by Mark to discuss the next two stories in the Finder series by Carla Speed McNeil. I know I'm given to hyperbole, but believe me when I say Talisman might be the best thing we've ever read for the podcast.
Not familiar with Finder? Well our previous episode had been behind the $5 tier, but I've made it free for the people

First and foremost, if you're not reading Ethernet Cable Girlfriend, fix that.

Next on the docket we talk about a NSFW erotic romance, Familiar! If you're a connoisseur, you've probably seen Soshiyou's art around the internet for some time, but you should read the series if you haven't. Lovely little poly romance that is more than worth your time.

After our last episode, Rick continued diving into the wild and wooly world of Maruo comics. Gore, excess, and dark humor abound.

Rick also read some Goddamn This War! by Jacques Tardi. Gore continues to abound but in a much darker sort of tone.

And last but not least, I have not been reading a ton of comics, but this episode is the first of three in a row (and counting) where I talk about Dog Man because the four year old in my life loves it. You know what? It's surprisingly good. A cut above a lot of the other books for their age bracket.
