i mean, depending on how you look at it the krebs cycle is kinda like a battery discharging and mitochondria are all over the place. not sure how you'd give a human body like, a specific anode/cathode though, unless you somehow linked all the mitochondria into a multi-cell battery.

The membrane potentials count as every cell being a capacitor, don't they? Mitochondria have over a 100mV across the inner membrane
