Randomly started playing this after GB4 was announced in the Nintendo Direct last week. I'm still pretty early in, having just started chapter 2 yesterday, but I'm already really enjoying my time with it. It's simply fun to build a cool robot and style on other robots. I've been doing a martial arts build and that's a ton of fun, always great to see robots doing hand-to-hand fighting. I also enjoy that after every mission my Gunpla will end up looking a little different after I swap out some parts, it's just a neat way to show progression. Game looks and runs like ass on the Vita but in this case I think it's kinda charming? It adds to the chaotic feel of the levels, and since I'm playing on easy it hasn't gotten to the point where it's impacting my ability to play so far. Also the last couple missions have had vehicle segments like Halo??? Wild shit, dude. Video games.
Got back into this after my bi-yearly MGS3 run, moved from the martial arts build into a dual-swords setup. I love how easy it is to air juggle dudes, but I think the difficulty is starting to ramp up in a not-interesting way. Lots of just obnoxiously big mobs of guys and enemies sniping you from halfway across the map. Still have like 20 medkits every mission plus the heal ability on cooldown, though, so it's manageable.
