we are coming up on warmer weather and some of you might be interested in gardening! Some libraries have seed libraries where you can a variety of seeds for free!! All they ask is that in the fall you collect and bring back some of those seeds. Don't know much about gardening or seed collecting? That's okay because you can't rent plenty of gardening books right from your library!! This is the website for Michigan seed libraries, but I imagine other states probably have it as well?

We also have cool programs you can come to to learn about neat things. We're also part of a consortium of libraries with reciprocal borrowing, meaning you can a) have lots of items we don't have shipped to us for you to pick up for free and b) go visit other neat libraries and use all of their resources!
It's always worth asking your library questions like, "can you get X for me?" and "what other things can my library card get me?" because it's a lot and we like to learn what other things our patrons are interested in having.
