baby sparrows have started showing up at the bird feeder, kinda wobbly and bedraggled. They are charming and the grown up sparrows do not peck them even though they are as belligerent as ever to each other
last year one of them brought a tiny stick with and sat there on it, on top of the pile of birdseed, and yelled at everyone else until they left.
