PANEL 2: my fursona sitting in a dark room, lit by a candle. caption: i've always needed glasses. in 2020, i realized my close-range vision was declining as well. at the time, i was living in a dark-ass apartment, so i figured it was just eye train.
PANEL 3: a conspicuously traced 2014 hyundai sonata. caption: "in 2022, it got so bad, i gave up wearing my glasses. i was even becoming sensitive to light. my wife drove me to an eye doc at walmart. (i went to art school for four years to trace this car.)"

PANEL 1: simple diagrams that represent the caption. caption: "keratoconus is a condition where the immune system slowly erodes the cornea of the eye. picture a balloon with a thick rubber skin. as the rubber erodes, the pressure inside the balloon pushes towards the thin area, creating a distorted shape. that's what's up with my eyes.

(i spent a lot of 2022 playing visual novels in the dark.) crosslinking does not improve vision, but my eyes have been stable ever since."
PANEL 3: my fursona bowing. caption: "keratoconus has no cure. my vision will always be affected, and i can't afford the special contacts that would correct it. still - i got lucky. my KC was caught and treated early. here's hoping the worst of it is behind me! thanks for listening!"

Unrelated to the real subject of this but the trick to make me instantly like a character design is to give them a tailpoof and digitigrade legs. that's how to creature
