Heehee, I know exactly what that is. That's the shape iNaturalist makes of lots of "obscured" location posts. If you make a lot of IDs around your home or workplace and don't want to out your location, it may look familiar. Somewhere in that blob is the home of one very dedicated newturalist. (Or maybe they went on a newt-spotting spree in that pond.)
