discord should add a raise hand button to the vcs so that i can signal to everyone else that i have something to say without interrupting anyone

I read vcs as "Video Computer System" aka the atari 2600 so I was like. You should be able to play by raising your hand :)
they already have this, it is the goose honk in the built-in soundboard :3

Technically this exists but only for those weirdo event VCs that mods can pick out people to speak, those have a toggle to "raise your hand" for whatever purpose of that event
Other than that, spamming the 👋 or ✋emotes would be the closest thing
