@Scribble-Sheep asked:

What be you a monarch of, if anything in particular?

When I debuted the character of Moth Monarch, the first piece featuring them had the tagline "Ruler of All Bugs!" - not nearly as presumptuous as it might sound today, as at the time there were very, very few bugs in furry. (Also, I enjoyed the alliteration.)

The title and nature of the character has since evolved over time as I've developed my little world of bugs and explored what their society is like in small ways. Moth Monarch is essentially a personal title of the character as a figurehead. They don't have rulers or monarchy the way humans do; it's more of a social position as a community leader. Moth Monarch can be flashy and fun, but a lot of what they're about (and me too) is being true to yourself and, through that, to others! We are all stronger when we work together, and that includes making room for all the wonderful ways people can be.

The text is a hand-written "Moth Monarch" with crown doodled above the end of the H in Monarch.
Do they have an actual normal name? Oh yeah. Do I know what it is? Nope. And if they never tell me, that's just fine. If anything, they've told me I'm Moth.
