5 years ago, I built a game for a college project.
Lovely Moon is a game about exploring an alien moon you've crash-landed on, using your jetpack to navigate the uneven terrain. I like to think of it as a sort of 3D maze, but with limited fuel instead of dead ends.
I got a little too ambitious with it - I only had a few months to work on it, but I wanted 4 levels and licensed music and a boss encounter and...
Needless to say, it didn't turn out at all how I'd envisioned it.
For a long time, I kinda felt like this project was a failure. I went in way over my head, burnt myself out working on it, and left it incomplete1 for years.
But looking back on it, it was an incredible learning experience, and the fact that I "finished" it at all is pretty cool!
If you want to play2 it, you can download it here:

It's still technically incomplete, but hey, what can ya do?

It's not very well optimized, so you might have some issues on lower-end hardware.
