thinking about how i'm completely flooded with kickass, publisher-less games catching my attention, too many to ever really play, at the same time as the video game industry as most people think of it is entirely falling the fuck apart, and feeling a little emotional. people are just going to create, no matter what. dandelions can grow anywhere.

I do still enjoy some games from big publishers from time to time (mainly Sqeenix, Altus, Nintendo) but broadly speaking I haven’t much of my interests reflected in “the industry” in quite a while.
