Before Bandcamp Friday ends, I actually wanted to shout out one more artist!
Trevor Peach is a character/persona created by an old friend I went to college with. The "gimmick" is that every single song Trevor produces is about self-loathing and how pathetic he is (don't worry, as far as I know the real person behind Trevor is doing just fine).
Trevor's got a real gift for writing lyrics - his last album is full of fun rhymes and wordplay, and it really helps keep it a fun listen, despite the depressing tone.
My favourite track is "Considering I'm Talking About Me," which squeezes a lot out of a really simple poetic structure.
