I had lunch at Kura for the first time in months to celebrate the unfuckening of my car and their current run of capsule doodads was grown in a lab to appeal directly to my undying love of Tiny Fake Food.
It looks about... 1:12 scale? ish? Maybe slightly smaller? Definitely too big for Lego minifigs, might be close enough to Re-Ment scale to fit in with that sort of stuff? The lid can't be opened but that's fine. It is a perfect tiny fake sushi on a little plate and I love it. It's hanging off a cat butt magnet on my fridge.
(you get a random free one with a 1 in 500 chance of a super rare gold plate with a piece of toro sushi on it if you eat 15 plates. I tried to eat 15 plates on a previous visit. This was a Very Bad Idea. Fortunately you can cheat and buy one at the standard per-plate price of $3.30. Buying one lets you pick your tiny sushi, but the rare gold plate toro is not an option.)
(for the record: my hard upper limit seems to be 11 plates)
