Trans women deserve to be angry because this shit sucks! No matter how much you hand-wring about it, the fact of the matter is that people are dicks to trans women. Not sure if people have somehow forgot about the whole "people were running targeted harassment campaigns to specifically drive trans women off of Tumblr" thing, but that happened and it sucked!
"We need to be kind to eachother" "We need to foster a community of solidarity and protection" Yes, absolutely! And that starts with, believe it or not, supporting the people in that community who need support, such as transfems who have experienced harassment! And believe it or not, most people outside of your incredibly insular circles are actually doing this just fine! I have plenty of TME queer friends who understand and support me, Rita has plenty of TME queer friends who understand and support her, and in actuality, a lot of queer people who aren't trans women are fully willing to support trans women even when we're angry or not silent about our harassment, because, believe it or no, that's what basic solidarity looks like!
If you specifically find yourself OUTSIDE of this community of protection and solidarity because you're being an ass about trans women being vocal about their issues, that isn't our fault, believe it or not! You're just being an exclusionist and a bully.
