It's less traditional Castlevania-style, but Yurivania 3's a big game and I don't want the reason people stop playing to be because they couldn't figure out where to go next. . . .
I think of the Yurivania games as "platformers for visual novel players", so I try to make them as approachable as possible for folks who may not be familiar with the genre's conventions. But, like platforming challenge itself, I'm still working out exactly what the best approach is.
