currently crying a tiny bit today not because I'm single but because i miss flipping through the CD racks at the Everyday Music on Sandy in Portland and I just found out that they had to shut down
imagine a "game" where you walk around a 3D map of a record store, and the shelves and bins are stocked with random music selected from a local music library or archive.org or what have you. every day, it rotates a little bit. some stuff is stocked as CD, some as LPs, and a few singles and tapes. you can play a few records in the shop every day, and you can buy some to take "home" out of a set budget every week (prices pulled from discogs?)
could be neat, I think
