their shit is all monstrously overpriced for what it is and I absolutely hate the UX of Mac OS and iOS, but off the top of my head, I can't think of a single Apple product that's just a fundamentally stupid idea. Microsoft et al. have certainly produced their share of Stupid Fucking Garbage but you almost never see apple jumping at stupid industry trends. kudos for that, I guess? the only incredibly stupid decision of theirs that they haven't gone back on that I can think of is removing the headphone jack from their cell phones, which is fucking stupid but probably somehow makes sense from a business perspective.
honestly I would probably be a Mac Person if I didn't hate Mac OS so much. Also repairability.
TLDR, Apple is probably the most competent major tech company out there, even if they're scumbags.
