like. they're both automatic rifles. the AK can one-tap players with helmets, the M4 can't. that feels like the end of the debate? does anything else even matter???

i don't think i've ever heard of anyone saying the m4 is equal or better than the ak, why would anyone think that?
true the S part of the M4A1-S is better sometimes, and it's really fun to Fucking Get people with it. as for the M4A4 though... I'll usually even take a Famas over it to save a few bucks. either get dropped instantly for an AK.
No you're right. Long-standing tradition that the CT side rifles are worse. I've even heard some people say there's no reason for a CT to buy a helmet if they know their opponents are running mostly AK/AWP
pre-GO, I feel like the M4A4 and A1-S not being split up evened things out a bit, but even then I slightly prefer the AK. the silencer isn't that useful.
Really the most useful thing about it is that you can take it off to make your gun worse on purpose (thereby shaming your weak opponents)
