our city has been having transport collapses every evening for 3, probably 4 days in a row now.
can barely get around on foot because of this horribly cold weather, same goes for bikes, public transport times are way lower than they have been before (which causes the buses and trams to be overcrowded) (this is because the city transportation department is operating at a massive loss), so everybody is using cars. and when everybody is using cars on roads that the city barely manages to clean (if they even do), of course you’re going to have traffic jams spanning the entire city of well over a million people.
i think i prefer sitting at home.
