Biden sucks (see: pro-genocide stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict, halfassed covid response, worst possible plan wrt withdrawl from Afghanistan, staunch opponent of M4A, still constructing the border wall, no effort to stop Greg Abbott from whatever the fuck he's doing, etc.), but let's be perfectly honest with ourselves, shit was way worse under Trump.
the Democratic party likes to do this thing where instead of trying to actually appeal to anyone who isn't some platonic, nonexistent Average American™, they instead play chicken. they're really good at it. as best I can tell, they are fully committed to this strategy. they would rather lose an election than win with a candidate more progressive than Obama.
