you ever think about how much Fucking Garbage is constantly being produced and think about how much labour power and natural resources are invested into producing Fucking Garbage and get really really mad. anyways, a Miniso just opened up near my uni and it's one of the most revolting concepts for a business I've ever seen. Imagine a Wish.com retail outlet but it's slathered in pastel colours and everything gets destroyed and dumped into a landfill at the end of the week.

watching dankpods made me realise just how much absolute junk is out there made for cheap profits. it's ridiculous.
Companies ensure wages are forced to stay low so people can't afford GOOD things, then the companies make shit garbage equivalents of the good things out of materials they KNOW start to degrade and break almost instantly but it's all we can get so there's "demand" for them to excuse them making cheap shit. It costs them almost nothing and they make money seemingly if it sells or if it gets shoveled into a dumpster so they'll never stop

Whenever I'm in a hardware store where shelves of crap go up 30 feet, I try to imagine a world where we still produce this much stuff in 100 years. I can't. It cannot last forever
