i would like TikTok a lot whole lot more if it did not do the "i hit the back button that means give me more videos and not exit the app"
it's an outright violent attack on anyone with ADHD and feels like gamification of people's vulnerability in a way I haven't seen since slot machines. every time I think a platform might be slightly better than twitter they do some heinous, truly evil disrespectful shit like this and i nope the fuck out
the push for short-form video feels like an intentional attack on our collective attention spans. even if you don't have ADHD, it's so easy to get sucked into tiktok or youtube shorts for HOURS, even if you're not actually enjoying it. it's nauseating and I hate it. fuck short form video.
