I find a lot of comfort and wisdom, particularly in weeks like these, from an album written not to stop the war, but for the people in the streets to stop the war. The new album notes are great, and worth a read along or two. And if Shake the Sheets is new to you, maybe just read those while listening to the album itself. Like the notes say about his hesitance to release these 20-year-old demos: "it’s a little bit like, the songs are there, just… not as good?"
