Not to be morbid but every year I'm more surprised nobody who played The Doctor has died since the show returned in 2005. I don't think anybody expected Tom Baker to see 90, and none of the others have been hit by a truck or had a sudden illness. And every few years there's another person added to the list whose death is statistically unlikely, but not zero, going in the pool. We're not far from the 30th anniversary of John Pertwee's death and it's shocking to me that only one Doctor has died in my lifetime!

Apologies to the families and estates of John Hurt, Peter Cushing, and surely others. I never let facts get in the way of a point.
