Happens all the time. Mmm, nice scenario just popped into my head. Imagining you flattened on a paw realizing that I'm actually flattened right next to you. We shoot the breeze as we're being flattened thinner and thinner and eventually talk about how we've been trod on so much that we're starting to be absorbed into the paw as living pigment 😆 Something about being totally nonchalant about getting absolutely decimated by some macro really tickles my fancy. Like, "Hey, I don't think I'm just really translucently thin anymore... I think I'm actually inside their skin." "Oh yeah, I was thinking the same thing ever since it got warmer down here. Wonder how long we'll last until we start fading?" "I dunno, wanna make a bet on it, with how much they jog every week I'd say... maybe three months." "Bold. I'll go longer at a year and eight months though because I think we're both more robust than that." etc... 🤪
That is a fun thought! Both of us simply letting ourselves flatten thinner and thinner, treating it oh so casually - as if our lives haven't become being two sentient paw stains on some either aware or unaware owner of ours. Chatting and betting about how long we'll last, who will fade out first, if our minds will survive being totally absorbed into the flesh of their paws... and even if any of us will respawn, an unlikely occurrence but possible nonetheless - via the power of toon logic, no doubt!
Who knows what'd become of a cat and a bunny, both reduced to stains on the bottom of a pair of paws-
So many possibilities 💦

I guess we can only see what may come next as it happens... if a bunny will ever be free of the bottom of a paw, and if a cat can ever come back at a size larger than "just smaller than the first sole to squash her" 💦
