After doing some research I managed to swap out a burned out internal power supply on my husband’s ps5 (we’re pretty sure it was thanks to a lightning strike that was damn near on top of our house a couple months ago because he had no issues before then) and so far it’s working like new. Going for the new power supply was about $400 cheaper than having to get a whole new console too, and with the way his was behaving it wasn’t going to be a huge risk for me to try to fix it first. Proud of this one because it’s probably the most involved “expensive” fix I’ve done so far.
