yeahhh definitely didn't used to be the case. but even old dawgz can learn to be chill again, as the saying goes
I did wonder. I had it in my head he was kind of a jerk but I've not been paying attention so it's good to see he's grown. Good for him, he'd absolutely have got away with not bothering.
in like 2018 he realized being an asshole was getting in the way of collaboration and wrote a letter or something, I'm not sure how closely he's followed it but he seems to suddenly care which is a big change
honestly huge props for being one of the few people on earth to say something like that and then actually do it

Probably worth keeping in mind that for all his mid-2010s nonsense, the man was raised by actual card-carrying communists. Using "communist" as an insult probably isn't going to have the same effect it would have on most Americans.
it was during The Collapse, though, where a lot of people got... negative views of communism, as capitalism was taking things over and still calling it that. so still kinda surprised
he's still seems a bit of a bully, at least there's one less thing i have to worry him being a bully about
