I picked up a 8bitdo M30 controller the other day, because I got extremely curious about the old Sega style d-pads and I saw some posts claiming the execution was extremely faithful. I had to have tried one before since one of the first games I ever played was Sonic 1 on Genesis as a wee kitten, but all I remember was the game, not the controller.
My impressions so far? It fucks. The dualsense can kiss my ass; now I have a new best friend for Strive.
Honestly it's still a really expensive game with no real single player content to speak of, so I'm not sure. But I kind of want to explore fighting games a little more with something that has a substantial playerbase, and Bridget's kit interested me from the miniscule amount of Plus R that I played. I'll think about it.
