FAZZ - Gundam Sentinel (1987)

FAZZ! It's the FAZZ, not the Full Armor ZZ, aka the FA-ZZ, but rather, the FAZZ, a single word, that means the same thing but is not necessarily the same acronym. It's a test unit for the FA-ZZ! Stripped down quite a bit, 3 of these units were used in Sentinel, they lack a head high mega cannon and instead replace it with a large, clunky rifle that has the same function, but the units are heavy and slow, and their test pilots are all killed in an attack.
It's kind of funny showing this heavily armed machine that is equivalent in some ways to being the upgraded suit of a main character in a show, only to have it absolutely slaughtered because it's a slow prototype test machine that actually can't do nearly as well as the real thing it's testing out for.
Ironically? While it's a worse off design for being stripped down I like it more than the standard ZZ. I like the head design a bit more, alongside the really nice color scheme. Look I'm just not a fan of tri-color, I prefer simpler color schemes on mecha! Except when I don't but look I can't always be consistent as much as I try to be.
