"Critter" has got to be one of my favorite words ever.
You see a little animal? by god that thing is a critter.
You see your furry friends? you bet they're delightful critters.
You see a funky little object? you best believe that's a critter too!
Critter is a good word. It is a great word, in fact. Wonderful, beautiful.
That said.
I am not a critter. I am a Creature and there is a difference.
I'm not sure what it is, but when you put a creature and a critter next to each other, they know which one they are.
You're so right! Creature is such a great word and when you SEE a creature, you just KNOW that's a creature.
